Reciprocating Coil Machine

On this device, the needle is connected to a metal rod that alternately strikes the end of one or two magnetic coils about 75 times a second. Very much like the traditional tattoo machine, but designed for permanent makeup applications; the speed and the intensity will be reduced according to the comfort of each patient.

Although these machines are not particularly esthetic, they have a certain "retro" charm: all the components are visible. They are heavier to handle, but they are more powerful than rotary or manual pens. This feature ensures that the end results are far more even and straight.

The machines are powered by direct current, through a fairly large transformer and/or power supply. While they are much noisier, they are solid and sturdy. And since the components are exposed to the air, they cool much faster, enabling uninterrupted performance and perfect color implantation in the skin.
